Villa San Francisco, Honduras
We are encouraged by reports from Terry & Alexa Carter, who are with a group of
Latin American Missions campaigners in Honduras. It is a medical mission, impacting
the residents there with physical health needs and more importantly, spiritual needs.
Sarah has been forwarding regular updates on the daily results, with the truly joyful
news of thirteen baptisms and two restorations. Terry & Alexa will be returning home on
Saturday. Please pray regularly for their efforts and safety and for the continued success
of the campaign.
 Salto, Uruguay
Several years ago, Jack Farber (“Panama Jack”) stated in front of Rafael Paguaga that
if he could help plant a church in any country in the world, he would choose Uruguay.
The reason he gave Rafael was that there was no congregation of the Lord’s Church in
that country (a nation of over 3.5 million).
Rafael took this statement to heart and has been working diligently toward changing
that situation. As it turned out, there is a small congregation in the capital of Uruguay,
Montevideo. But in the second largest city, Salto, 136,000 in the metropolitan area, a
single, elderly lady had prayed for 20 years for a preacher to restore the congregation
that did exist there but dissolved with the death of the preacher.
Through the efforts of Rafael and his supporters, Salto now has a church building, a
resident preacher, and conducted a campaign in April of this year which resulted in four
baptisms. His efforts have been independent of the church at Forrest Park (LAM), but
with their approval. As this work continues, I am pleased to announce on behalf of the
eldership that North Lexington will serve as an “overseeing” congregation for Rafael’s
work in Uruguay, handling the financial contributions of his supporters in the United
States. We look forward to sharing with you regular reports from Mission Uruguay, one
more location where the Great Commission is being implemented.

Several ladies are working hard to prepare for our Freely Received, Freely
Given event on Sunday, July 19, from noon until 5:30 PM, to be held in the
barn. If you have items you would like to donate, contact Rhonda Juett.
Everyone is encouraged to come by and take what you could use.

Stacy Murphy now calls home 309 Slate Branch Court, Monroe, OH 45050.
Congratulations, Stacy!
Jerry & Misty Wise have their new address for us: 8334 Mary Beth Drive, West
Chester, OH 45069.
Field trip to Ohio, anyone?

We are gladdened by the news that Caleb Keath put on Christ in baptism at
Rolling Hills Bible Camp. Please take some time to welcome Caleb into our
spiritual family and pray for him as he grows in the faith.

We extend our condolences to Kendell Seaton on the passing of his first
cousin, Bruce Kerr, on Saturday. Please remember Bruce’s wife (Kathy), his
daughter (Kristen), and his granddaughter (Addie) in your prayers. His funeral
was held Saturday in Bowling Green.
