At Tabernacle Baptist, worship is a journey we take together. I encourage everyone to step into community and discover how your gifts bless us all.

As we continue through the summer, we are filling in the worship schedule for
the Sundays ahead and would be grateful for your help.
There are several ways to take part: reading scripture, offering a prayer, sharing
a testimony, or helping lead music. When we know who is available ahead of
time, the worship team has more room to plan with care, and the service feels
more connected.
Worship is richer when many voices from the congregation help guide
us. Please consider adding your name to one of the remaining
summer Sundays.
Use the QR code below to sign up and see who has already joined in.

Readings: Matthew 10:40-42
Call to Worship (“God meets us in small mercies.”)
Hymn #278 (We Are Travelers on a Journey)
Prayers of the People (Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen)
Special Music
Sharing the Peace of Christ (We invite you to share a sign of peace with those around you: a handshake, a smile, or a warm embrace. As you greet one another, you may say, "The peace of Christ be with you," or offer a simple word of welcome. In this moment, we bear witness to the peace of Christ alive among us.
Blest be the tie that binds our hearts in christian love;
The fellowship of kindred minds Is like to that above.
We share each other’s woes, our mutual burdens bear;
And often for each other flows the sympathizing tear.)
Offertory Prayer. Offering. Doxology. (Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise God, all creatures here below; Praise God, for all that love has done; Creator, Christ, and Spirit, One. Amen.)
Scripture Reading (Matthew 10:40-42 (Page 791 in Pew Bible))
